A football-weekend charter request should begin with the game city, kickoff time, departure point, passenger count, baggage, and preferred return window. Ground transportation and airport operating constraints also matter because a nearby airport is not necessarily appropriate for every aircraft or schedule.
The original guide highlighted airports serving several SEC markets, including Tuscaloosa Regional, Athens–Ben Epps, Gainesville Regional, and University-Oxford. Current runway, parking, slot, airport-hours, and handling information must be checked for the proposed aircraft and date.
Choose an aircraft for the actual mission
Aircraft category should be evaluated against passengers, baggage, route, winds, runway conditions, and any fuel-stop requirement. Generic range or seating figures are not a substitute for the direct carrier’s trip-specific performance review.
An empty-leg listing may be worth checking when its existing repositioning route and timing align with the request. It is not a fixed-price product, real-time promise, or guaranteed alternative to an on-demand charter.
