The Hawker 900XP is the final factory-produced development of the classic Hawker 800-series midsize jet, combining the family's spacious cabin with newer Honeywell engines and composite winglets. It can be considered for longer regional and transregional charter trips where cabin comfort and payload capability are important. However, advertised range remains conditional on load, weather, reserves and available runway.
Why the Hawker 900XP remains a charter consideration
Hawker Beechcraft certified and introduced the 900XP in 2007 with TFE731-50R engines, composite winglets and Collins Pro Line 21 avionics. The Duncan Aviation model-year table records manufacture from 2008 through 2012. Official records include charter-fleet orders as well as later equipment changes such as digital pressurization, reinforcing why model year and exact installed configuration matter within today's finite fleet.
Variant note. The 900XP uses TFE731-50R engines and composite winglets. It is distinct from the 850XP and from 800XP aircraft converted under the 800XPR program.

Inside the Hawker 900XP
A typical 900XP charter cabin seats eight passengers in club seating with an aft divan or individual chairs, supported by folding worktables, a forward refreshment center and an enclosed aft lavatory.
The approximately 551-cubic-foot cabin is about 21 feet 4 inches long, 6 feet wide and 5 feet 9 inches high, offering a broad seated environment with windows beside the main work areas. Approximately 50 cubic feet of baggage space is a practical family reference. Cabin management, sound treatment, connectivity, outlets, galley appliances and upholstery depend on the selected aircraft and refurbishment.
- Seat configuration
- Typically 8 executive passengers in club, divan or mixed arrangements
- Cabin volume
- Approximately 551 cu ft, Duncan/Conklin model-performance convention
- Cabin dimensions
- Approximately 21 ft 4 in long × Approximately 6 ft wide × Approximately 5 ft 9 in high
- Baggage capacity
- Approximately 50 cu ft
Stowage access and usable volume vary by galley, divan and wardrobe configuration; confirm actual luggage dimensions and weight.
Hawker 900XP range, cruise speed and flight deck
Duncan Aviation's July 2026 model-performance table lists approximately 2,733 nautical miles for a seats-full NBAA IFR trip, closely matching the official eight-passenger Russian-certification example of 5,069 kilometers, and separates that basis from a 2,929-nautical-mile ferry range with no passengers. Normal cruise is listed at 430 KTAS.
Two Honeywell TFE731-50R turbofans and composite winglets improve the final-generation platform, with Collins Pro Line 21 in the flight deck. Only the direct carrier may convert those reference figures into a dispatchable trip plan.
- Range reference
- Approximately 2,733 nm seats-full NBAA IFR; 2,929 nm ferry/no-passenger
- Duncan Aviation July 2026 model table sourced to Conklin de Decker; official Hawker material separately gives about 2,737 nm for an eight-passenger certification example.
- Cruise speed reference
- Approximately 430 KTAS normal cruise
- Duncan Aviation July 2026 Hawker 900XP model-performance value; not trip-average speed or dispatch planning.
- Engines and efficiency context
- Two Honeywell TFE731-50R turbofans
- Fuel use depends on the installed engines, thrust, altitude, payload and cruise settings. An engine model alone does not predict trip fuel use.
- Avionics
- Collins Aerospace Pro Line 21 integrated flight deck; later navigation and communications updates vary
- Aerodynamic design
- Swept low-mounted wing with enhanced composite winglets and a cruciform tail

Is the Hawker 900XP right for your charter?
The Hawker 900XP can fit eight-passenger business or leisure travel that needs a full midsize cabin and more reach than earlier Hawker variants under comparable assumptions.
Jet Partners will have the carrier confirm the tail, cabin plan, baggage acceptance, avionics, connectivity, runway analysis and any planned fuel stop, then provide the verified itinerary, operating party and written terms rather than infer availability or capability from the model name alone.
Jet Partners compares trip-specific proposals as an air charter broker.
Confirm these details in writing
- Aircraft, cabin layout, passenger count and baggage fit.
- Named direct air carrier and available trip-specific safety information.
- Runway, payload, weather, routing and possible technical-stop limits.
- Total price, inclusions, conditional charges and cancellation terms.
The properly licensed direct air carrier identified in the proposal retains operational control and makes the final flight-operational decisions.
